Angad and Erica celebrated a weekend filled with the beautiful union of two families and two cultures. They embraced each other’s customs and traditions in a way that truly honored both sides. I was incredibly honored to capture these moments for them and to tell the full story of their weekend-long wedding celebration.
The festivities began with their rehearsal dinner, hosted at the home of Angad’s family—a place filled with memories from his childhood. It was the perfect setting to mark the beginning of this new chapter in his life.
The backyard was adorned with the vibrant colors and décor characteristic of an Indian wedding, creating a stunning and festive atmosphere. The weather added to the warmth and joy of this first gathering of both families.
Erica began the evening with the traditional Mehndi ceremony, where intricate henna designs were carefully applied to her hands and feet. As the paste dried, it left behind a beautiful stain that would last for weeks, allowing her to carry the artistry and symbolism of the designs throughout both the Indian and American wedding celebrations.
