Water’s Edge Resort | Coastal Wedding

Elena and Randy had a vow renewal wedding celebration on the coast of Connecticut at the beautiful Water’s Edge Resort. It was a perfectly sunny day in September, not too hot, not too cold. They renewed their vows in an intimate ceremony and reception with their closest family, their daughters, and their friends sharing in their day.

Elena and Randy were already married but wanted the chance to celebrate with their loved ones as covid and life had gotten in the way. They weren’t able to get the photos of their dreams the first time around because they were married in a tiny ceremony in their living room and Elena said, “we only took one selfie!” Elena said she was excited for bridal portraits, photos of her dad walking her down the aisle, and her family celebrating. They love the beach so that was the inspiration for choosing this perfect coastal venue.

I hadn’t done an engagement shoot with them, so I didn’t get the chance to meet them before the wedding and I can’t express with words how incredibly kind and joyful they were on their vow renewal day. They were so inviting and made the entire experience incredibly easy.
